Ben joined the firm as a lawyer following his call to the Bar in June 2010. He is pleased to welcome new clients.
Having completed his articles with the firm, Ben intends on practicing Real Estate, Corporate, Condominium, Municipal and Litigation matters while expanding his knowledge through continuing legal education seminars.
Ben received his Juris Doctor from Bond University School of Law in Australia. While there, he was an editor for the Law Review, a member of the Varsity Volleyball Team and finished first in his class for drafting a securities memorandum. As an exchange student, Ben attended Duke University School of Law where his studies focused on negotiation and corporate reorganizations. He was also a member of the Duke Sports & Entertainment Law Society.
Prior to law school, Ben competed at the professional level in both mountain biking and tennis. He then went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario (Huron College) where he served for four years as the President of the Mountain Bike Team.
Ben is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Sports Lawyers Association. He is also a Notary Public.
Ben is excited to practice law in Collingwood where he enjoys kiteboarding, tennis, mountain biking, golf, sailing and skiing. |
